We are grateful for your help in addressing food insecurity in our community!

The HEART Kitchen is a commercially licensed facility through the Chester County Health Department, and our staff are certified ServSafe Food Managers. To maintain a safe and healthy environment, we follow strict safety and health guidelines—including age-based volunteer restrictions.

Volunteer Age Guidelines:

• Ages 18+ : Eligible to sign up for any opportunity listed
• Ages 16 - 17 : May participate in most opportunities independently 
• Ages 8 - 15 :  May participate in opportunities ONLY if noted in the event title/description. Adult supervision and prior approval are required.
• Under 8: For health and safety reasons, we ask that children 8 not participate or be brought as volunteers.

• Pets and animals are not permitted in the HEART Kitchen at any time.
