Get into the holiday spirit and spread some sweetness with Holiday Baking Days at the HEART Kitchen! Bring your favorite cookie or dessert recipes to bake and share, or try one of ours! Enjoy merry music, festive decorations, and plenty of good company as we mix, bake, and decorate together.
We’ll enjoy the treats together as we bake, and then share them as part of the December Holiday Meal (Pay it Forward Café), spreading a little holiday love to our neighbors.

We are grateful for your help in addressing food insecurity in our community!
The HEART Kitchen is a commercially licensed facility through the Chester County Health Department, and our staff are certified ServSafe Food Managers. To maintain a safe and healthy environment, we follow strict safety and health guidelines—including age-based volunteer restrictions.
Volunteer Age Guidelines:
- Ages 18+ : Eligible to sign up for any opportunity listed
- Ages 16 - 17 : May participate in most opportunities independently
- Ages 8 - 15 : May participate in opportunities ONLY if noted in the event title/description. Adult supervision and prior approval are required.
- Under 8: For health and safety reasons, we ask that children 8 not participate or be brought as volunteers.
